“The Artistic Touch 4”, by Chris Unwin NWS – Just Released!
“The Artistic Touch 4”, by Chris Unwin NWS, Creative Art Press, 2010, Hard Bound, 173 pages.
I am thrilled to have an image of my painting, “Old San Juan”, included in this book that was just released: “The Artistic Touch 4” by Chris Unwin, NWS is now available. You can order it for $25 + shipping on my website now and it should be available soon on Amazon.Com and in Barnes & Noble, Borders, and independent bookstores. The book consists primarily of works by watercolorists although there are some oils, pastels, mixed media and acrylics (such as my selected painting). The book is categorized as “art instruction” though it can be enjoyed by non-artists as well.
American Artist Magazine’s review of “Artistic Touch 4”: “This lavishly illustrated volume would be worth its price even without the text. It’s fun reading because of the variety of works, which are broken up into such categories as abstractions, animals, machines, the sky, travel, and landscapes. Under most of the paintings reproduced here, the artists describe their inspiration for the work and offer various tidbits of technical information.”
