“A Paris Sunday”
A beautiful summer Sunday morning in Paris. We bought a poulet roti at the market on rue Mouffetard for our dinner later. While in the Latin Quarter, we ate lunch outside at a quaint little red checkerboard tablecloth restaurant in a shady, out of the way square. After lunch we rode the Vespa out to the Bois de Boulogne and found a lake with those big wooden rowboats for rent. After displaying my excellent oarsman skills to Vicky, we found a cool spot under a big tree on the grassy banks; Vicky read Harry Potter and I painted. “Sunday Afternoon – Bois de Boulogne” is the resulting painting.
What a perfect day!
