“River Vienne at Chinon – en plein aire”
I’m never really good at acting natural when someone says, “Hey! Let me take your picture painting.” My concentration is interrupted and it is like being roused from a good dream. But I wanted to prove that I was actually there painting…
The sun was in and out that day. This makes the colors fluctuate in intensity. But those wonderful reflections were constant. It’s too bad you cannot see the full effect of the reflections of the boats and the bridge from this photo. There were also some kayakers on the river which added color. They passed by after my water was already painted in – too bad!
