I drove to Santa Fe, New Mexico in the year 2000. I drove out by myself and Vicky met me about a week later. We wanted to go to Taos but never made it due to time and all of the distractions. One such distraction was Abique, New Mexico which is the area where artist Georgia O’Keefe lived. We tried to visit the house but you need reservations well in advance. It’s supposed to be a very interesting visit. Maybe next time..

I had my painting gear with me, and thanks to Vicky’s patience, stopped in several places to paint. Ghost Ranch was one of them. This was an area that Georgia O’Keefe frequently painted.
