Catinka,
You should consider a WordPress site such as I have here. I pay for some extra space and features but the bulk of what you see is free. Go to http://wordpress.org/ and sign up.

Thanks for visiting and I'm glad you liked the paintings.

Thank you Robert! One of these days I'll have a chance to rework my website. I made it with an online 'sitebuilder' using one of the templates - it does not allow for a bigger picture in the corner. My father had the same comment about it...

All the rest of your recent workshop paintings are a joy too. This one just struck so much because it works so well in its unfinished state. Thank you for showing it in progress.

Catinka:
I agree with you about the simplicity. It does borderline on abstract and yes, the unfinished freshness is an element that cannot be disturbed to much. I plan to work it further with these things in mind. Thanks for your comments....

I enjoyed visiting your site. The watercolor on the top left-hand corner of your Coloring page needs to be larger so I can see it better. It looks like a nice juicy watercolor!

I love how this hovers between abstraction and representational. It's wonderful just as it is - the 'unfinished' sections are so integrated with the painted sections. The dark color fields/washes have such natural forces flowing within them. Very nice. I think this can stand 'unfinished'.
