Thanks for the Dachshund rescue site info – although the local one didn’t have many dogs, we found other Dachshund Rescue sites and my mom filled out an application for several dogs.

We are the ones you met on sunday w/ 2 daschunds on the beach. The long hair Lola , & short hair older – sister . I donated money back for a dog park in Atlantic beach. It was in memory of a dear man Scott Deputy . I wish they would put one in.
The city needs to do something about that woman -that is awful ! Also if your mom is still looking for a daschund I saw one on craigslist jax. She should check there also.

There is a story that the Nazi Bitch was stalking a woman and her dog walking on the beach in AB; when the woman crossed over into Hanna Park, Ms. Nazi called Jacksonville Animal Control; By the time the guy drove out from Arlington, the woman was back in AB. I don’t know how this story was made public but the guy supposedly called Ms. Nazi and asked her if she had anything better to do with her time than stalk people and their dogs.

I hope the dog-owning citizens can do something about this problem which, unfortunately, hurts our dogs more than anything.

We will certainly take you up on that drink on our next trip to AB!
